As of now I'm looking at the colleges I've been accepted to which are: Stanford, Pepperdine, USC, UCLA, and there are others, but these are my top 4. It's not so much about the name as it is about the area (I'm from Irvine) and the medicine program it offers. UCLA is the least shiny of all these, but it has a great medical schoool. UC Irvine was a cake walk to get into, but too close. I need a buffer zone, even though I sure as hell am not living in a dorm. I don't like strangers and I don't like to share my personal space. Anyways, medical school is 4 years off, so maybe I should just chill at Pepperdine or USC or even Stanford. Who knows. I'm thinking about it.
On a shallower note:
Um, I'm so excited for The Hitcher. Sean Bean is a stone cold fox and Sophia Bush is love.
Speaking of entertainment, I can't wait for my shows to come back and have some new episodes. I don't watch too much, but I'm into -HOLY HOTNESS a Hitcher preview just showed on tv. Basically I like Heroes, Ugly Betty, Grey's, Supernatural, Smallville. I only watch the farce of One Tree Hill because of Sophia Bush and Bethany.
The Poisonwood Bible is like, one of the best books I've ever read. Surprising, since almost every school-mandated read is pure bunk. Usually I'm still on my journey of conquering the classics, but this one is fairly recent (1998) and its written by Barbara Kingsolver. It was put on the Oprah's Book Club list, but I swear to God, that's not why they picked it for school.
